Narriator - Today, Jose and Rosa want to open a bank account.

Jose - Mom, I want to open a bank account.

Mom – What kind of bank account?

Jose – I want to open a savings account.

Mom – You earned lot of money working.

Jose – I want to save my money

Mom – A savings account is a good.

Jose – Can we go to the bank?

Mom – Yes, we can go to the bank.

Jose – Can we go to the bank today?

Mom – Yes, we will go to the bank today.

Jose – Rosa wants to go to the bank.

Mom – Why does Rosa want to go to the bank?

Jose – Rosa wants to open a savings account too.

Mom – We will take Rosa to the bank with us.

Jose – Rosa saved her money too.

Mom – A savings account would be good for Rosa too.

Jose – There is the bank.

Bank clerk – Hello, Can I help you.

Mom – Hello, we would like to open savings accounts.

Bank clerk – please sit down.

Mom – My name is Mrs. Lopez and this is my son Jose and my daughter Rosa.

Bank clerk – Pleased to meet you, I am Mr. Anderson.

Mom – Jose and Rosa would like to open savings accounts.

Mr. Anderson – How old are you Jose?

Jose – I am eleven.

Mr. Anderson - How old are you Rosa?

Mom – Rosa is six.

Mr. Anderson – You will have to open the accounts for them Mrs. Lopez.

Jose – But it is my money!

Mr. Anderson – Yes, your name and your Mom’s name will be on the account.
Mr. Anderson – How much money would you like to deposit Jose?

Jose – I am going to deposit ninety dollars.

Mr. Anderson – That is a lot of money for a young man.

Jose – Yes it is my pay for working.

Mr. Anderson – Your first deposit will be ninety dollars.

Mom – Rose is going to deposit forty dollars in her account.

Mr. Anderson –Very good.

Mom – Are you happy you have a bank account Jose?

Jose – I am happy I have a bank account.

Mom – When you work you can out more money in your bank account.

Jose – Yes I would like to put more money in my bank account.
